Banco Exterior de Cuba is a state bank, endowed with organic autonomy, independent legal personality and its own assets, which is not responsible for the obligations of the state, its agencies, bodies, companies and other economic institutions, except in the case expressly assumed.

Main Business Activity

BEC develops functions inherent to universal banking or multiple services, consequently performs all types of operations and financial intermediation businesses, specializes in banking activities to support the country’s foreign trade, providing quality services, advice and financing to Cuban companies directly or indirectly linked to export, import, and import substitution as it offers a comprehensive range of products and services.
